deluge-torrent software package provides bittorrent client (gtk ui transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install deluge-torrent
deluge-torrent is installed in your system.
Make ensure the deluge-torrent package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep deluge-torrent *
You will get with deluge-torrent package name, version, architecture and description in a table
